This Lightweight Fiberglass Hood for the Porsche 996 (1997-2004) & 986 (1996-2004) Boxster weighs in at a fraction of the Factory OEM steel Hood. CCP constructs each of our hoods with hand laid fiberglass (1708 fiberglass sheets) over a white gelcoat base that ships ready to be painted. This lightweight fiberglass hood hinges like the OEM but has no provisions for the hood latch, you must use hood pins. The Flush Mount Hood Pin Kit is available for purchase on our website under the "Hood" section. Our Hood accepts your OEM hood brackets. Approximate Weight:11 lbs. ADDITIONAL DELIVERY FEES: Lift Gate or Inside Delivery is NOT INCLUDED in CCP Fabrication's Shipping costs. The customer understands and is in agreement with, "any additional delivery fees for services performed that were not quoted in the initial order (Lift Gate or Inside Delivery) will be charged to the credit card used when placing the order". When an Inside Delivery of Lift Gate is performed, the customer will need to pay the additional fee, as it is not included in the initial delivery charge. Fees range up to $100.00.
